There can be injury from sin while you’re dancing <br />Needn’t touch it directly you see. <br />It sort of rubs off on us in someway <br />And can cause you grave unseen injury. <br /> <br />Like when you catch your mind wandering <br />To those places it shouldn’t really go. <br />Even though you might not commit the deed <br />Your mind has already suffered it so. <br /> <br />“But I wasn’t touching it, “Father” <br />“I was just dancing around and around. <br />And somehow I reached out my hand <br />And that sin was what now is bound.” <br /> <br />We can’t dance around sinful thoughts or deeds <br />Eventually you’re going to get stuck! <br />It will leave scars unseen by others <br />From the needles of sins cactus now plucked<br /><br />Linda Winchell<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-was-just-dancing/
