I never found that love one to hold on to <br />I never felt that kind of bond, it may come soon <br />I felt it from family but I was shy to give <br />Falling prey to love I heard was bad so I never did <br /> <br />So I was hesitant to speak to any female in any resident <br />Reluctant to dive into relationships and receive ill doses of medicine <br />It’s not like I’m being stuck up, I’m just looking at the evidence <br />My mom always cries at the thought, that she got caught <br />In my father’s web and for that she has always bled from her gem <br />That’s what makes me tense about finding love on the other side of the fence <br /> <br />That’s until I had a dream, a vision, and God spoke <br />To give advice and give my inner heart some life <br /> <br />“Leland I have come to reflect some light in your kite <br />You know I reside from the sky, you know love so all I ask is why? <br />Why run from relationships?
