When you've been mistreated <br />turn the other cheek <br />when your heart breaks when you see something beautiful destroyed <br />try to turn the other cheek <br />I know so much of sadness <br />but it still hurts when its one who you care for <br />beyond your own desire <br />They once brought you joy <br />Turn the other cheek <br />Someone else is watching and knows what is on the inside <br />what matters is what is true <br />not how you're judged <br />Turn the other cheek <br />because the one who judges you <br />is somoene you care for and always will <br />Turn the other cheek <br />Though it hurts and its hard <br />bite your toungue <br />Forgive <br />What matters is not how you're perceived <br />but what you are, what is in your heart <br />turn the other cheek <br />sometimes we fail <br />sometimes it feels too much <br />remember that you care <br />turn the other cheek <br />but don't go back there, where you're mistreated <br />and thought of lowly <br />that will only bring more sadness <br />and there has been enough sadness <br />trust there is a reason <br />turn the other cheek <br /> <br />© James T.
