It was balmy 65 degrees, <br />Before the sun went down, <br />Here in Cumby, <br />The Christmas was a different for me, <br /> I still would hear Mannheim Steamroller’s, <br />Christmas CD and had figure myself, <br />Blessed and lucky, <br />To have my loving wife, <br />Looking out to west, as we sat on our balcony, <br />I reflected on what has transpired, <br />And it is all good. <br />As it should, <br />In a week we’ll be heading for Jamaica, <br />For our first anniversary, <br />Belated honeymoon <br />I wish that Roxy could have kittens, <br />By the time when we leave, <br />Real soon. <br />I said Merry Christmas’s to a dozen or so people, <br />And I recorded music for first in couple of years, <br />All is good, <br />As it should, ---be. <br /> <br />(12-25-2007)<br /><br />Joe Rosochacki<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/christmas-2007/
