I have a backpack <br />stuffed and ready, <br />awash with the solitary <br />things i posses, my <br />aspirations and my dreams. <br />Between tauras and aries i shall <br />stop to catch my breath. <br />I posses no resolve <br />to end my odyssey, <br />my pilgrimage to tera mitca. <br />In my scouring for <br />things i dont know, <br />perharps i shall find myself. <br />I shall take the footpath around helios, <br />and touch jupiters moons. <br />When i listen closely, i shall <br />hear the orchestras conduct, <br />hear the priests chant their mantras <br />and the gentle tap of feet. <br />Surpassing the sun and all <br />celestial bodies, <br />will be my fixations heat, <br />a reminiscent of all the times our eyes would meet. <br />Your heart will beat <br />for all your loves, your fascination and your fear. <br />And i, between virgo and pisces <br /> will try not to hear. <br />And yet it matters not to me <br />if every star would shut, <br />But i would stay and be a tribute to that one beating heart.<br /><br />Peya Jakob<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/walking-to-alpha-centuari/
