We take one day at a time <br />As we stroll through the years <br />Life is not always easy <br />There are problems that bring tears <br /> <br />Our families work together <br />We all do the best we can <br />We welcome the new babies <br />To our fertile and treasured land <br /> <br />We truly love our grandparents <br />And learn from them so much <br />We are taught to respect our parents <br />For they teach with a ‘sturdy’ touch <br /> <br />Our aunts, uncles and cousins <br />Also make us the people we are <br />We try to keep in touch with them <br />For some live so very far <br /> <br />We grow up and have our own families <br />A new life is what we find <br />Then we teach the new generation <br />To take one day at a time!<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/take-one-day-at-a-time/
