What is evolving? <br />Who is evolving? <br />Many times evolution is misconstrued with civilization. <br />Civilization often times is misconstrued with technological advances. <br />Technological advances could often misconstrued the human condition <br />Obeying laws, morals, principles, <br />The Bible, the Koran, the Shri Bhagwad Geeta, Code of Hammurabi, <br />Does society follow the message within these ancient books? <br />Murder, lying, and the sort, <br />Each society will have their different looks on God, <br />But how godly are we? <br />What Nirvana are we making? <br />Are major metropolises better than the villages in bush country? <br />Is Bush’s country better than tribal communities in the rain forest? <br />We are the same way but different, <br />Advances of technology are not necessarily better evolvement. <br />I hope the human species will evolve in compassion, <br />-understanding and love, <br />That will be the only way its will evolve beyond its terminable path that it’s undertaking. <br /> <br />(1-9-2008)<br /><br />Joe Rosochacki<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/devo-de-evolving/
