When you are stressed, <br />the demons awaken in your mind. <br />Positive becomes negative, <br />confusion reins supreme. <br />We know not what we are doing. <br />Our lives become muddled <br />and turmoil sets in. <br />Nothing is real anymore <br />all our thoughts are imaginary. <br />We see loss <br />when there is no loss there. <br />We fear everything we hear. <br />Thoughts become illogical, <br />and we see everything as some kind of plot <br />and the demons in our mind <br />are now working overtime. <br /> <br />19 May 2009<br /><br />David Harris<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/demons-in-our-mind/
