If I had one wish to make <br />I wouldn't waste it on money or to change my looks <br />I would simply wish with all my heart <br />Just to be loved <br />Not just the feeling I get when a guy looks my way <br />Not the fake passion I feel when a guy kisses me <br />I feel all that all the time <br />I want someone for my own <br />Someone to stay, so I could call them mine <br />The feelings I feel around all other guys is all the same <br />The love I feel, doesn't connect because they don't feel this way <br />They look at me like I am another toy <br />One that they could use and then throw away <br />Everytime i feel like this is the one, he's perfect <br />He walks out on me <br />Only to ignore me forever more <br />Thay all act the same <br />Like they have never seen me before <br />I want a guy to hold me in their arms <br />To mean it when they say 'I love you' <br />I want them to look into my eyes so I can see if that spark is there too. <br />I want them to feel the same for me as i do <br />Is it so easy for a guy to forget <br />As it is for a girl to fall so far <br />And is it so hard for a guy to just love <br />As it is for a girl to hide her broken heart and tears? <br />If it isn't what they make it seem... <br />If deep down they really do care.... <br />Then they sure have a good way of hiding it<br /><br />Samantha Young<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/font-color-maroon-to-love-and-forget/
