The Doctor Who star recorded the special clip for nine-year-old Thomas Goodall – who is autistic – following the death of his nanny. <br /> <br />In it he tells Thomas: ‘Clara and I are travelling around in time and space. Sometimes bad things happen to us. And sometimes sad things happen to us too. <br />‘So it’s nice to know that there’s somebody like you out there who’s on our side. And you should know that we’re on your side too.’ <br /> <br />Thomas’ father Ross posted the clip to YouTube earlier this week, saying: ‘This arrived just before Thomas’ nanny’s funeral and helped him to deal with his grief in a profound way. <br /> <br />‘Thank you Peter so much.’ <br /> <br />Amazing.
