With a sneer and a grin <br />and a fistful of dough <br />they emerge from the bin <br />brown of toe, brown of toe. <br /> <br />There is bent-ear Costello, <br />also pitiful John. <br />Both would fit a bordello <br />though they can't get it on. <br /> <br />With their snouts full of loot <br />and their knickers in knots, <br />a big horn that goes toot <br />in the big parking lots, <br /> <br />they are once again chanting <br />how they'll govern the land, <br />though their raving and ranting <br />like a soup all too bland. <br /> <br />Folks are dumb to their nipples <br />cannot tell what's at stake. <br />Cannot see those small ripples <br />as it moves, the old snake. <br /> <br />As he rests there, he's losing <br />worn-out skin, every flake <br />I can't find it amusing <br />that he's simply a snake. <br /> <br />Nothing WILL change a coward <br />nor a crook or a thief, <br />let us throw out John Howard <br />as commander in chief. <br /> <br />If we keep re-electing <br />those old limp dicks who screw <br />folks, while slyly dissecting <br />our family ewe, <br /> <br />we shall soon find that living <br />as we thought it would be <br />turns perpetual giving, <br />while we're down on one knee. <br /> <br />So, I wish you dumb wankers <br />who were born with short pins, <br />a huge glut of new bankers <br />and a nuclear rinse.<br /><br />Herbert Nehrlich<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/election-2007-australia/
