Two Hearts <br /> <br />It was the beginning of winter <br />The year two thousand and four <br />When two friends joined hearts <br />And pledged their love forever more. <br /> <br />Tradition they did not follow <br />Which was the case since the start <br />You see this couple in love <br />Were three thousand miles apart. <br /> <br />Many months had passed by <br />And they took time to get to know <br />All and everything about one another <br />As their friendship continued to grow. <br /> <br />Like all they had their problems <br />And a few times did part <br />But hours, days, weeks later <br />Their friendship they would restart. <br /> <br />There is no doubt at all <br />That God played a role <br />To ensure this loving couple <br />Together would one day stroll. <br /> <br />Loneliness which we hate the most <br />For this couple no longer laid ahead <br />But a lifetime of happiness <br />And being together laid there instead. <br /> <br />Yes it was the beginning of winter <br />In the year two thousand and four <br />When two lonely people <br />Pledged their love forever more.<br /><br />Peter Van Camp<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/two-hearts-3/
