suspended in the humid air like some braided bird in flight <br />said braids flopping 'round my face <br />keeping the thick hair from my hot, sweaty neck <br />balancing my hands on <br />the grimy scraped-up floor in front of me, feeling <br />the blood rushing to my head <br />staring down at the upside-down world through <br />a translucent purple ball <br />anchoring my belly, my tanned splayed legs sticking <br />out behind me, right by <br />an upside-down toddler passing by, and he says <br />'why are you doing that Gina?
