This morning, on the inside windshield <br />of the taxi I was riding in there was a <br />sticker that said, 'This car protected by <br />the blood of Christ.' I thought, maybe <br />so, but I hope the guy’s a good driver. <br />Actually, there was a second sticker <br />right below the first one that said the <br />exact same thing. I guess his car needs a <br />double dose of Christ's blood for <br />protection. I kind of wished the stickers <br />had drawings of blood flowing down <br />the lettering, like on a heavy metal <br />poster. I think that would have more <br />impact, kind of like those statuettes of <br />Christ on the cross with blood flowing <br />liberally from the nail holes and crown. <br /> <br />Amazingly, the driver got me to my <br />destination without any problem. I <br />guess that Christ's blood thing really <br />works. But I can't imagine it always <br />does. I mean, there are millions of cars <br />and there's only so much of Christ's <br />blood to go around. Maybe just a <br />molecule of blood would suffice.
