Words about Shipboard Hazard And Defense <br />Will not be minced! <br />Veterans were had by Project SHAD! <br />Starting in fiscal year '63, <br />Our government went on a poisoning spree! <br />Test Eager Belle started the healthcare hell. <br />When it really ended no one will tell! <br />Were there more after year '74? <br />Chemical and biological warfare tests <br />Were done on many of America's best! <br />Now this part of Project One Twelve, <br />No one wants to delve! <br />Veterans of Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, <br />Many have real questions and needs! <br />With tests like Copper Head and Shady Grove, <br />Why have not SHAD veterans been fully told? <br />The Coward of Crawford and his chickenhawks, <br />About this they do not talk. <br />They receive the best of care, <br />While the worst, SHAD and other veterans bear! <br /> <br />Dedicated to J.
