On the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, Pope Francis is calling for all barriers that divide the world.. to be knocked down.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Italian) POPE FRANCIS SAYING: (SOUNDBITE STARTS OVER SHOT OF CROWD)<br/> <br />"Let us pray that with God's help, and the cooperation of all men of goodwill, that a culture of people coming together, able to bring down all the walls that still divide the world."<br/> <br />In 1961 the Berlin wall was built to stop East Germans from fleeing to the West. At least 136 that tried to flee were killed. Many more wound up in jail.<br/> <br />Berlin is celebrating this 25th anniversary by releasing a massive illuminated balloon installation into the sky, letting go of the past, and welcoming the future.
