The concept of love is hard to understand, <br />Love takes many shapes and forms, <br />Be it gender or race. <br />A rubix cube, <br />Hard to figure. <br />A deadly vice is attraction, <br />Mistakenly taken when blindly given. <br />Only then to be struck with cupid arrow, <br />A term that is lightly used; when two becomes one. <br />When life isn’t just about me anymore! <br />Sharing feelings and not knowing why? <br />Breaking down in the middle of night, <br />Fearing the worst when you know you really shouldn’t. <br />Having the feeling of ecstasy, <br />Though never taken the drug. <br />Everyone wants a part of it, <br />Money can’t buy love, <br />It’s priceless, not like lust. <br />Love can be a misery, <br />Trapped in a loveless relationship, <br />‘cause he has you by the heart. <br />Afraid to run ‘cause you have love, <br />No matter what anyone else thinks. <br />Love can be a disgrace! <br />I find it hard to open up, <br />Unlike Pandora box! <br />All I know is I have love, <br />And I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world!<br /><br />Joseph Tanner<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/love-262/
