People say and do silly things, <br />When emotion fly around a room blindly, <br />Causing a path of destruction. <br />Crumbled walls left in the wake. <br />When morning comes and last night becomes nothing more than blur, <br />The evidence is all but to be gathered. <br />Tear streaked pillow, <br />That vacant space by my side. <br />Such silly things, <br />I feel the rain drops flood my heart. <br />A shadow of my former self under my cloud, <br />Unable to form a sentence, <br />Silly thoughts that won’t wash away. <br />Re-running last night events in my head, <br />Like a badly re-run show, <br />Knowing it’s all too late to change the channel<br /><br />Joseph Tanner<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/silly-things-2/
