Let's be bare skinned and skip the poem in this. <br />Let's talk straight out, and spit straight-that's our aim. <br />Who speaks of life as 'sublime, divine bliss? ' <br />Live hard. Live short. Don't live to take the blame. <br />For every day the household is just war. <br />We go to work and leave a trail of blood. <br />And every day the boss man's word is 'more! ' <br />While at our end our epitaph is 'THUD.' <br />But why complain? That's just the way things are. <br />Our days won't change and don't you even try! <br />The best of life is drowning at the bar. <br />And those who tell you different-hell, they lie! <br />The truth's not rain.
