Candice Renae Williams - Imperfection: an important dignified answer

2014-11-10 0 Dailymotion

What dignity do you posess?
Above me.
Stick figures are out there, lined in a row
they are marching closer to push us over.

Little doll sitting in the rocking chair
wax black eyes and frothy mane of black cur
A mirrored reflection portrays
the image to prefection, white ribboned
hair and white trim to the toes
Her sleeves are dainty, her ankles
are slim. And graceful, shows a face
of childish trim on a whim.

Single ribbon wrapped on one hand
A yellow trail of golden hue
and one marred jolly rose'd cheek,
bright fingerprint
marks the dolls-'partly imperfection'; said the judges beneath.

*not finished

Candice Renae Williams

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/imperfection-an-important-dignified-answer/
