As i hold you,

Thick black hair,
Feels softer than i thought it would,
Passing through my fingers.
Strong physique,
So carefully structured,
As if you've been sculptured.
Wet brown eyes that take hasty glances at me,
So full of emotions that wait to be unleashed.

I wish i could be that person,
The one to release those pent up feelings,
To comfort you when your down,
And always be around.
What we had was nice,
Confusing, (Should i read into it or not?)
And a little surprising.

But i'm not the one,
And neither are you.
You're not the one i should be holding,
Should be comforting,
Should be wanting to have around.

So i'm left with that little niggling feeling,
The one that won't go away,
The one that keeps building up,
The feeling that is guilt.

Lily Espinosa

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/mounting-guilt/
