The tick of it is enough <br />For us to think of it, though, <br />Who does it or gives it a thought? <br />Can God ever be conniving? <br />Does good reason govern the dull? <br />What is it here in this great sphere <br />that does not do us a good or two? <br /> <br />Reasoning the obvious is hard <br />While the most invisible gets pursued <br />And at times we all succeed <br />But nowhere are we near or around. <br />It is all in us ticking like a clock <br />That fells our time in tickles. <br />We hardly notice that it is our fate <br />“We are but those grave freezes <br />That two beats coyly accommodate”. <br /> <br />We simply relate our time with fate <br />And go missing between two beats <br />Somewhere in our own landscapes. <br />God is no more, and his entity has no form <br />It is all the fruitless pursuit of the invisible. <br /> <br />Look at your wall clock, simply reckon <br />What you see is the best of your icon <br />And what you hear is no more a tick <br />But it is an opportunity knocking <br />so audibly, and it tells us “it’s time”. <br /> <br />It’s time.
