I met an alien from beyond <br />Beyond the plane where I could reach <br />He landed in a carriage <br />With wheels of warming words and thoughts <br /> <br />He holds a scarf in his own hand <br />With magic spell of making love <br />He owe it from the Aphrodite <br />The goddess of loving passions <br /> <br />I knew it clearly as a sky <br />The diverging sky as well as air <br />Colour, culture and the tongue <br />The age and pave of our life <br /> <br />But I felt it never being <br />Being with an alien being <br />Lest I lifted to a plain <br />And felt as if I were at home. <br /> <br />But we talked and walked together <br />Beholding alphabets of love <br />And knew each other to the core <br />Without the knowledge of sight and hear <br /> <br />What shall I call that feel? <br />Is it the real unseen friendship? <br />I can’t make out a word for that <br />That lovely, sparkling relation <br /> <br />But I feel it in my heart <br />The poignant flaming bond in life <br />Is nothing other than that; <br />The bond of love and loving care<br /><br />Sandhya S.N<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/an-alien/
