Born as a child, we've come to know <br />This 'family' so they call <br />With whom we'll spend majority of life <br />It's a 'yes ‘ mandatory state <br /> <br />Well yeah they care for all I care <br />Well yeah they came to help <br />As if the work would burden down <br />Rather, it piles up <br /> <br />Why don't they learn to stay away <br />And leave me alone to myself <br />It would be better if they'd do that <br />If 'peace' was to be made <br /> <br />But on and on they stick like glue <br />Chatter and blabber about <br />They scold and shout, with rage about <br />Over their shoulders I stare <br /> <br />So I grew up, successful? yes <br />With wealth and love and faith <br />I have decided to do one thing <br />And regret some stuff I did <br /> <br />I came back home, tears in my eyes <br />To thank this 'family' who cared <br />Who never gave up, when all fell down <br />Who loved without wanting rewards <br /> <br />I apologized for the things I've done <br />For shouting back like mad <br />For seeming to ignore their wise advice <br />Even though, by heart, I learned... <br /> <br />In reality, we don't get to choose <br />This 'family' so they call <br />But endure life with them, the good the bad <br />And learn the gift called 'Love'..<br /><br />Danzen D...<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/this-family-so-they-call/
