I cannot escape this road i live on~ <br />The traffic runs both ways- <br />Trying simply to cross it- <br />Only adds more confusion to my days... <br /> <br /> <br />It is the same inside of my place~ <br />Trying to choose a condiment that is clean! ! ! <br />Choices of catsup, mustard or mayo- <br />Are not always- -what they seem! ! ! <br /> <br /> <br />Laundry detergent smells and makes skin raw~ <br />Wonder about the tooth paste as well- <br />And what of the creams and bath salts? <br />It is really too soon to tell! ! ! <br /> <br /> <br />For it seems a 'gold fever' team, if you will~ <br />Partnered up for a trip 'cross the line- <br />Sir William of England and his quantum physics teacher- <br />Are here looking for a way to add to the Design... <br /> <br /> <br />But i have had my fill of hypocrits~ <br />And treachery and being a traitor is not good- <br />So, guess, i simply will stay on this road in this place- <br />Until they realize- -that they are not doing- what they should... <br /> <br /> <br />Every once in a while God-He intervenes~ <br />Between Him and His angels He stops many unjust things- <br />Usually sinister, illegal, plot schemes- <br />And all of the wrong, in betweens... <br /> <br /> <br />When it is wrong-it is wrong~ <br />No matter what anybodies mind might say- <br />So this is to all who drive on my road: <br />'The Light Of God Is Shining In My Life Today' <br /> <br /> <br />From: ***The Attic Of My Heart <br /> <br />To all of those wandering on this day and tomorrow. <br />Behind the door is so much more than you ever feared for. <br />August 23,2009<br /><br />Theodora (Theo) Onken<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/driven-7/
