Sometimes I slipped to old memory lane, <br />Take me to far off places without sitting in plane, <br />Happy and old days definitely to be counted, <br />Let there be so much worry in mind amounted, <br /> <br />I see her almost there when look at the sky? <br />Take me back to old days I don’t know why? <br />I had asked her from silver moon, <br />She came on earth to join me soon, <br /> <br />“What would you prefer tea, coffee or milk? <br />She was almost there by wearing sari silk, <br />Graceful eyes with welcome and smile on face, <br />Was I on hunt or for partner in race? <br /> <br />She was perfect as I had imagined, <br />Eyes danced as if were wined <br />But she caught me and I thought may be fined, <br />If said not then life will be ruined, <br /> <br />All went well with deciding to knot, <br />proposal through with no fear of “not” <br />Remained with me for period so long, <br />She was at her best and never did wrong, <br /> <br />Life with wife gave me delight, <br />Nothing unusual and path right, <br />Nothing is missing and going out of sight, <br />Reminds me of old when look up at light<br /><br />hasmukh amathalal<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/old-memory-lane/
