Enigma of stocks <br />Gives me shocks <br />The one that I sold <br />Is now worth tons of gold <br />Sir, it was a silly mistake <br />My broker told <br /> <br />The one that I bought <br />Is worth a naught <br />In a vicious circle <br />Now that I am caught <br />The broker's remark <br />Land on me, as a punch... <br />Sir, it was your hunch.... <br /> <br />I wish I were smart <br />And learnt this art <br />Of buying gold and <br />Keeping good stocks on hold... <br />And of selling short <br />All those worthless naughts.. <br /> <br /> <br />The moment's spur <br />Did me in; <br />Bought this one <br />Referred by a kin... <br />The greed ruled <br />When fear ought to have <br />Now hopes accompany me <br />That no money I have.... <br /> <br />Now I am a man of fears <br />Lost all my money <br />Earned over the years <br />My kin so happy <br />Cheerful is my broker too <br />For me please solve this enigma of stocks <br />Will you?
