One eyed Mom <br /> <br />His one eyed mom wasn’t cool; <br />Did cleaning stuff around his school. <br />The looks of her made him grim; <br />For the fear, she may recognize him. <br /> <br />One day she came to meet; <br />To cheer him up and greet; <br />The students also saw her; <br />With disgust and anger. <br />The one eyed ugly face; <br />To him she brought big disgrace. <br /> <br />He was mad, mad at her. <br />For whole life he shall abhor; <br />Her ugly life and unpleasant face; <br />As to him she brought disgrace. <br /> <br />Grew up the son, only to go away <br />To raise a family in sumptuous way <br />Again she came, to meet them <br />Stood at his gate one day; <br />His children screamed <br />Out of fear, <br />He hated again, why his mom came near? <br /> <br />Life cruised a long way <br />Till he visited his school on reunion day <br />Wanted to see his old house <br />Where stayed his mom <br />His eyes searching the vacant house <br />But there was no one. <br /> <br />A letter handed over to son <br />By a teacher old <br />Letters scribbled in his mother’s hand <br />Seemed to be etched in gold <br /> <br />She narrated a story <br />That was hitherto hidden <br />The son in his childhood was bedridden <br />In an accident he had lost an eye <br />The mother could bear this <br />For him she donated one eye <br /> <br />I am sorry son!
