I sit silent and seek no solace <br />Search for hut and not the palace <br />Simple desire with no strings attached <br />Emotionally bound but never feel detached, <br /> <br />My soul cry over the sufferings and misery <br />Pray for blessings even for adversary <br />I want to be apostle for needy and poor <br />Serve to the best of ability from door to door <br /> <br />Can I not spend little time for needy? <br />World is moving fast and people are greedy? <br />No time for peasants and country men <br />this can be sign of downfall and bad omen <br /> <br />if I can wipe the tears and distribute food <br />Kind words which may prove to be good <br />providing shelters and taking them out of wood <br />Medicines and food along with fresh supply of blood <br /> <br />These are all impracticable and idealistic views <br />May not be shared by many but only few <br />Thoughts may peter out as morning dews, <br />Headlines may appear but not as good news, <br /> <br />I may not venture and go for big move <br />Try at least for apprehensions to remove <br />Let needy dream and wait for good words <br />If not men but blessings from the Lord<br /><br />hasmukh amathalal<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/silent-spectator/
