My boy, you know, he loves to skate, <br />Hurt a shoulder, break an arm, <br />A missing tooth just adds more charm. <br />Drive to Philly, it cannot wait, <br />Chase that fine elusive fate. <br />A flying board, a car alarm <br />“Man, them skateboarders sure cause harm.” <br /> <br />But no, not I, I don’t partake <br />In this miserable obsession <br />I can hardly stay awake <br />As I watch another session. <br /> <br />And the day grows long and sticky <br />All them boys are drinking beer <br />I pray “Dear Lord, I shan’t be picky, <br />But do please get me out of here.” <br /> <br />Yet I stay and in the morning <br />At six o’clock he wakes, the fool <br />Then while laughing at my warning <br />They all trespass another pool. <br /> <br />I don’t see him none ‘till dinner <br />And while he eats for three grown men <br />He informs me then, the sinner, <br />“At midnight I’m going to skate again”.<br /><br />girl girl<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/skateboarding-3/
