THE DRAMA! <br />Wait my friends for the curtain to rise, <br />The drama of life shall unfold in just a while, <br />For which you all have paid a price! <br />Some of you are in the front row, while others <br />in your balcony seats, - <br />Have an equal chance to view this show! <br />No need to see your watch since Time is that <br />only thing, - <br />Which has been granted in equal portion to <br />each human being! <br />But after the curtain rise, some my laugh <br />and others cry! <br />And a few may even remain mute and dumb! <br />Please don’t interrupt in between to ask me <br />why! <br />For I have yet to find out who am I ? ! <br />Wait for the climax of the last scene which <br />shall explain; <br />When the king, the knight and the pawns, <br />Shall enter the same black box at the end! <br />For then you shall have no grounds for any <br />complaints! <br />Have patience dear friends till the drama ends! <br />And I just remembered there is one thing more; <br />Please don’t disclose the climax to others, <br />as you get up and go! <br />For that would mar the entire show! <br />What, you say they already know? <br />The climax of this great grand show? ! <br />Well, let it not be you who should tell! <br />Let each individual find his destined end! <br /> -Raj Nandy <br /> 01 Jul 09 <br /> New Delhi <br />(Once more friends, written in a lighter vein!)<br /><br />RAJ NANDY<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-drama/
