When I gaze into the infinity of thy loveliness, <br />When I look into the splendor of thy beauty, <br />When I stare into the power of thy captivating gracefulness, <br />I lift my praises to the Almighty for all His wondrous creations. <br /> <br />When I close my eyes and feel the tender breeze around, <br />When I stand still and touch the sensation of thy enchantment, <br />When I grope and fumble searching for thy innate solace, <br />I worship and give thanks to the Lord for thou art magnificent to behold. <br /> <br />When I sit around and smell the intrinsic fragrance of thy charm, <br />When I do nothing except to sense the scent of thy magical spell, <br />When I tread along and grasp your evocative redolence, <br />I laud and give glory unto Him for He is the Creator of them all. <br /> <br />When I listen to the sound of the chirping birds, singing softly into my ears, <br />When I hear the rustling resonance of every leaves being moved by the gentle wind, <br />When I hark carefully to the movements of every animal from everywhere, <br />I give ardent adoration to the Omnipotent for all these blissfulness of heaven. <br /> <br />When I taste the aesthetic radiance of thy pulchritude and grandeur, <br />When I savor the beatitude propriety of thy vast shape, <br />When I relish and zest into thy fresh, inspiring, and radiating scenery, <br />I exalt the Lord for all these perfect blessedness bestowed upon mankind. <br /> <br />The air and the wind; the mountains and the forests; <br />The plants and the trees; the animals and every moving organism around; <br />The oceans, the lakes, and the rivers, and all fishes and fowls; <br />The real essence of nature—God’s gift to mankind. <br /> (July 5,2009 – Sasebo, Japan)<br /><br />Maylene Galang<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/nature-god-s-gift-to-mankind/
