As I whisper your name <br />the blend of colours <br />and tone bring your <br />your smile back home. <br /> <br />I sit in the breeze <br />as this blessed whisper <br />returns to me. <br /> <br />The feel of gentle <br />rain showers me <br />with your love, as <br />it falls like tears <br />from my face. <br /> <br />I breathe the loving <br />air that reminds me <br />of your heavenly scent <br />as I sit here in our <br />once favourite place. <br /> <br />The willow, still stands <br />with its emerald loving <br />hands, that we'd lie <br />beneath making love <br />which was always <br />so unplanned. <br /> <br />I run my lonely fingers <br />over the flattened blades <br />As I picture you there <br />in the willow shade. <br /> <br />I remember the way <br />you would smile <br />looking into my eyes <br />as we shared our <br />love for one another. <br /> <br />Raising my hand <br />I wipe away the tear <br />of these memories <br />as I now sit lonely <br />under our tree. <br /> <br />I look to the dream <br />filled skies, as a single <br />bird flies to-ward <br />the heavens as I cry. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />© Jon.London 2009<br /><br />London Love Poems<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/missing-you-244/
