It all seems such a long journey with an arduous quest; <br />I was egocentric, arrogant and that may cost me the best! <br /> <br />I'd been imprudently searching for love all my life; <br />and, she seemed like a blessing, a key to my strife! <br /> <br />But, I am unfortunate... and, I do not deserve to be loved! <br /> <br />In my prudence chose to hurt her and have paid the cost, <br />Oh God!
