she was brought into this world <br />as beautiful as can be. <br />played with her dolls - naturally. <br />a few years later she reaches puberty. <br />and the years are going by much to fast for me. <br /> <br />soon she becomes a teenage girl <br />making the rounds <br />and with her friends getting down. <br />listening to the music of her generation <br />moving her body, and feeling the sensations. <br /> <br />the teen years is when i worry <br />hoping that the years will go by in a hurry. <br /> then she reaches womanhood <br />and life 'dawns on her' as it should. <br /> <br />all the do's and don'ts that i preached <br />she has finally gotten to reach <br />that stage in her life <br />that now she thinks twice. <br /> <br />now a full grown woman, and so much in love <br />planning her wedding, and using turtle doves. <br />a smile on her face, and joy in her heart. <br />getting ready for a brand new start. <br /> <br />being a newly wed with so much to learn <br />and old bridges, she has to burn. <br /> <br />now she has to WORK, COOK, CLEAN <br />and everything else in between. <br /> she can no longer procrastinate <br />for it is 'much too late'. <br /> <br />a year later has come and gone <br />and her doctor hits her with the bomb. <br />you are pregnant, and a boy you'll bare <br />this is the news you have to share. <br /> <br />six months later out he came <br />a little boy and ' JAMES' is his name. <br /> now she's gone through all the <br />stages that a female must do. <br />CHILD, PUBERTY, TEENAGER, WOMANHOOD <br />and now MOTHERHOOD. <br /> <br />and every stage she carried me through. <br />and as her father i will pray, and i'll love <br />her more than words can say.<br /><br />louis rams<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/fathers-dilemma-daughters-stages/
