As I look around me, at all creation, <br /> <br />My heart and mind, take into contemplation, <br /> <br />How Allah created the sun to rise, <br /> <br />How Allah created animals so wise, <br /> <br />How Allah created humans in races, <br /> <br />With lots of different types of faces. <br /> <br />How the trees sway in the breeze, <br /> <br />How in the winter, we tend to freeze, <br /> <br />How we welcome the sunshine, <br /> <br />How we smile when the weather’s so fine, <br /> <br />How the stars shine from above, <br /> <br />How the flowers symbolise love, <br /> <br />How the crops grow as they should, <br /> <br />How the earth has so much good, <br /> <br />How the orbits of planets is fixed, <br /> <br />How the waters, are never mixed, <br /> <br />Subhanahu, how perfect is He, <br /> <br />The One who created, you and me, <br /> <br />SubhanAllah, how perfect is Allah, <br /> <br />The One who Created each stone, and each star. <br /> <br />I praise Him, throughout each day and night, <br /> <br />I pray He raises us to a lofty height. <br /> <br />Upon all that He did create, <br /> <br />Each day I will find my heart contemplate, <br /> <br />And meditate upon all that is in sight, <br /> <br />And has made me see the true, freeing light, <br /> <br />Al-Khaliq is He, who created us, <br /> <br />Created us from clay and its dust. <br /> <br />Upon His signs lets all take heed, <br /> <br />And make contemplating, a Favourite Deed.<br /><br />Rukhsar Ahmed<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-favourite-deed/
