Tables, chairs and flowers were arranged in perfect line <br />Delicate eastern food and wine completed the dine, <br />Reserved and prepared by colleagues <br />In a well-known hotel so neat <br />She made a hell of speech, in her birthday treat. <br /> <br />All eyes scrutinized her in silence, <br />As she expressed the piece <br />Well versed, full of integrity <br />And in interrogative mode she eased, <br />Whoever behind this plan of selfish and hidden offense, <br />Surely, she will find ways to know about it and attack in defense! <br /> <br />As she finished the last phrase, <br />She ripped off her white chiffon gown <br />Slits were made above her legs, <br />As she pony tailed her hair and frown, <br />One obsessed man approached her, grabbed her wrist <br />She pulled the necklace, returned it back as she twists. <br /> <br />Put her helmet on, started her bike and drove off <br />No one had got any chance to stop her leave the party off, <br />Visitors went numb, mouth were open wide <br />They did not expect such a surprising, offensive act! <br /> <br />Two weeks she laid off from her work and never been heard and found <br />At her getaway she found peace and serenity in profound, <br />She was not afraid for such defense they will do from her offense <br />Because she knew she has many aces for a counter offense <br />And will effectively serve as her great defense. <br /> <br />Now, she is back again in circulation, no questions arise <br />Treated her like nothing happened, invited her to dine, <br />Flowers are ready; foods are set in a hotel so nice <br />There she is offered promises again, <br />She hopes it will be fulfilled this time, <br />Set her free; give her freedom for a peaceful life with her man! <br /> <br />(BlackWidow)<br /><br />Inner Whispers<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/defense-and-offense-2/
