Two rainbows graced the evening sky, <br />Completely awed, I wondered why. <br />Brilliant hews of vibrant light, <br />Glowed in the darkening sky of night. <br />Side by side the rainbows glimmered, <br />As raindrops on the window shimmered, <br />Radiantly towering, they were so tall, <br />The rainbows made me feel so small. <br />A spectacle of nature I was privy to, <br />And I savoured it for a minute or two. <br />When the sun came out again, <br />The fabulous show was at the end. <br />There’s a scientific explanation I know, <br />Raindrops dancing on light gave the show. <br />But I’ve no doubt that I was blessed, <br />To glimpse Mother Nature at her best!<br /><br />Nancy Crossman<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/two-rainbows/
