I still remember those late night calls <br />how you were there to catch me from all my falls <br />you always knew just what to do to cheer me up <br />all you had to do was tell me 'sup' <br />i don't know were we went wrong <br />we were oh so strong <br />i still remember the things we would do <br />how i had your back and you had mine 2 <br />yeah we had our ups and our downs <br />but with you i had no frowns <br />sometimes i look back on the times we had <br />and i think to myself oh well it's to bad <br />when my friends talk about you <br />all i do is smile <br />and act like I'm over it <br />like I'm over us <br />but the truth is <br />I'm not <br />i still miss you <br />i thought we were going to get through it <br />but i guess neither of us made an effort <br />and you know the saying <br />'you never know what you have until it's all gone' <br />i didn't believe it until i lost you <br />i now know you truly are special <br />and now i wish i could go back <br />but it's to late <br />you've moved on <br />but i want you to know <br />i still love you<br /><br />Vanessa Cortes<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-still-remember-12/
