Coming is the end of study's break.
Soon this dead, empty heart shall no longer ache.
Filling with love and respect into Passion's Lake.
And the Muderer shall be burned at Disloyalty's Stake.
Coming is the begining of a newer, brighter day.
Yes come, come quickly bright sun, do not delay.
Bring forth life to this dead soul of decay.
For it will be only he with whom which i now lay.
The steady beat of my heart as he comes near.
His touch, his desire, so strong- nothing shall i fear.
The smell of his skin- the softness of his voice to hear.
Closer-so close he comes- once so distant, now so clear.
I take his hand, and follow his hidden path.
Down to the Peaceful River-away from Hatred's Wrath.
Now leaving my mortal body and joining along Lovers Laugh.
And from the warmth of my breast, he hath
Rested his head, so full of thoughts so kind,
Revealing the Old Life in which It took blind
Stabs into his heart so true..a good man is this find.
To take his broken heart into mine, well i do not mind.
So come, yes come, lets go sit down by the stream..
And close our eyes to slumber in this Lover's Dream.

Conchita Mauer

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-lover-s-dream-2/
