As I reflect on what has gone before, <br />I consider, hopes and dreams <br />both past and present, some dreams <br />fulfilled, others broken, elapsed, <br />discarded from field of my imaginings. <br /> <br />I remember happy times, when laughter <br />poured out of happy smiling faces, fun times <br />blissful times of happiness, that had no care. <br />As tears fell down, I feel the dampness of <br />those dark moments of anguish on my face. <br /> <br />I mull over how fears I overcame of anxieties, <br />made me harden my resolve not to give into <br />hidden fears, to ignore them all the time. For <br />fears, worries, qualms and reservations all live <br />in future, and future is a time that never comes. <br /> <br />I recall the help, the good deeds I have given, <br />and recollect those times when I have erred. <br />As I journey ever onward through the mindscape <br />of my life, with its many ups and downs, I ponder <br />how the renewal of the spirit that made me happy, <br /> <br />was found through realising that we have to go, <br />through both shaded and sunny periods, effort is <br />needed, before we climb a mountain and descend <br />to life’s basin.
