I had craze for friendship <br />Not so serious about companionship <br />Longed for quick and easy union <br />May be some friendly relation or reunion <br /> <br />I could not find eyes so bright <br />Not sparkling such as light <br />don’t know whether I was wrong or right <br />Considered it always as male’s might <br /> <br />Though I could subdue the woman <br />Could convince only one as her man <br />Never realized that it is not the game <br />ventured for it as pride and fame <br /> <br />I must be spared as simple fool <br />Did not think yet high with mind cool <br />Are we animals who can fall prey? <br />On grazing ground with pastures grey <br /> <br />Anybody may be proved wrong <br />Hunt may not go indefinitely and for long <br />You may be able to lure but not succeed <br />Evil design may fail before you proceed <br /> <br />May be lust and sex have their own priority? <br />Can’t be weighted with logic and parity <br />Interest may match but won’t go further <br />Strom may come but soon stand to wither <br /> <br />Look and see it happens with sincere desire <br />We should acclaim and openly admire <br />Friendship is not the commodity to exchange <br />Long spell to remain with if we manage <br /> <br />I may not succeed to dwell at length <br />Right feelings have desire and strength <br />Nothing to worry if rightly moved <br />Give full honour to the love to be loved<br /><br />hasmukh amathalal<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/craze-for-friendship/
