living in this fantasy world <br /> where whatever you thought of <br />'you could do.' <br />and all your dreams would follow you.' <br /> <br />if you dreamt of all the riches in the world <br />you would start off with a pearl. <br />then the beauties of the diamonds <br />rubies, sapphires and emeralds <br />would all follow suit. <br />silver and gold to boot. <br /> <br />you could go into any career that you want <br />whether it was a doctor, lawyer, scientist <br />or even a gymnast you could do. <br />it all depended upon you. <br /> <br />there are so many options in this fantasy world <br />to do, or become whatever your heart would desire. <br />but! it still would not put out the fire. <br /> <br />most all of these are material things <br />but love 'it could not bring'. <br />it could not give you what was <br />truely in your heart and soul. <br />and that was 'someone for you to hold.' <br /> <br />the heart and soul is together like a mother <br />and a child <br /> and they'll be together for a very long while. <br /> treat them gently, treat them with care <br />then all your wonders, they will share. <br />they'll show you all the emotions <br />that come in this life <br />from heartaches to struggles and strife. <br /> <br />the most important feelings that <br />the heart and soul will show <br />is the love that will flourish and grow. <br /> this you will not find in your fantasy world <br />for love is much richer <br />than your diamonds and pearls. <br /> <br />love grows from deep within your heart and soul <br />the most glorious wonder to behold. <br />so step out of that fantasy world and <br />come into the light <br />that will take you on the most fantastic flight. <br /> <br />you will see what all others have discovered <br />that for you, there is a lover.<br /><br />louis rams<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/fantasy-world-10/
