Some roads are long and weary <br />with plenty of troubles to get through; <br />sometimes it seems there is no end in sight. <br />Our self-esteem is failing <br />along every lonely mile we walk <br />and the only thing that can help us <br />comes from within. <br />We must say to ourselves <br />we can beat this <br />and throw caution to the wind, <br />keep soldiering on until the end. <br />The weariness will wear away <br />and the road will become shorter too, <br />then we will again see happier days.<br /><br />David Harris<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/in-struggles/
