The paper boy no longer shy he cuts a different caper <br />Since he worked for me eight years back delivering the local paper <br />And I've been told by a reliable source that the once shy young laddie <br />Has grown to be a randy buck and has proved himself a daddy. <br /> <br />'Twas Mrs X who told me so and Mrs X know better <br />That he's been sleeping round a bit and he never use 'french letter' <br />And Mrs X so very wise has found the explanation <br />For sharp increase in the past two years in the local population. <br /> <br />On paper boy she puts the blame she says he's got children by the dozen <br />And he's been known to even put the hard word on his cousin <br />And that even married women find him sexually attractive <br />And that he's deflowered some lovely girls and he sexually keeps active. <br /> <br />But on second thoughts I still believe my paper boy's no baddie <br />As he worked for me as paper boy when he was just a laddie <br />And someone had bad mouthed him to Mrs X and that's how rumour started <br />But paper boy not pervert kind than that more noble hearted.<br /><br />Francis Duggan<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-paper-boy/
