Why do we have a thing labeled age? <br />A number increased when we seemingly change. <br />The simple statistic runs our lifes more than most know, <br />Because most abide, like a law they follow. <br />I have great sorrow for those of today and tomorow... <br />Is it not how old you feel? <br />Rather than the number your dealed- <br />to distract you and keep you in line. <br />For how many times has a number made you cry, or decide? <br />Rise above what has been created to ground your time. <br />Always have mind over sum and you'll never die, <br />but survive and outlast the ones who stay confined, <br />with there closed fragile minds. <br />A number is just a nickname. <br />Don't let it contaminate! <br />Rather deteriate, like a plague. <br />Into nothing but zero. <br />because you are your own hero! <br />So follow your heart, <br />right from the start, <br />and it will never stop. <br />I promise. <br />Time keeps ticking on. <br /> <br />Copyright © ®2009, Chris Holmberg.
