Gray day,
solemn gaze.
Oh how I miss you.
I wish I could die too.
Yet we would still be apart.
Though my heart,
would ache.
And my body would quake,
from the pain of departing from you.
I miss the special way you would do everything you would do.
The way the room went yellow,
and make everyone feel mellow.
Though we were bleeding internally,
while you were living externally,
you felt for us as we felt for you.
Now I have one last thing to do.
And it`s the most important thing I`ll say,
before my breath is taken away.
Will you marry me?
With your cheeks like a cherry tree,
always blushing at what I show for you.
Will you turn my gray day... back to blue?

Brooke Audino

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/gray-day/
