Once in a while <br />An urge to merge <br />With the colors, vivid <br />And the lines and forms, abstract <br />In a painting, hanging, <br />Silently on the wall <br /> <br />Once in a while <br />An urge to leave <br />That straight, concrete <br />Well-formed path <br />And amble aimlessly <br />In the grassy meadows <br />Or the green vales <br />In the mid morning warm sun <br />Amidst the hum of the bees <br />And the chatter of the grasshoppers <br />With little surprises that the nature reveals <br />And mischievously smiles <br />And just once in a while <br />Amidst all this, to rest peacefully <br />Under the cool shade of creativity <br /> <br />Once in a while <br />An urge to turn the pages <br />Of the albums of memories <br />And get the aromas, primitive <br />And feel enveloped <br />In the petals of love, nostalgic <br />Once in a while, <br />Just once in a while!<br /><br />maitreyee joshi<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/abstracts/
