Light rays kissed my darkness <br />It turned my blackness to white <br />It looked so bright to my eyes <br />So hand raised to block its rays <br />To help my eyes settle in dark <br /> <br />Eyes got used to this darkness <br />In which it lived for many years <br />It can't differ the nights and days <br />That's how my life was to say <br />So this eyes can't take the light <br /> <br />Light for my eyes is not so true <br />It shows something which is lie <br />On which I will smile and laugh <br />It takes me into mythical lands <br />Were it leaves me to live happily <br /> <br />I knew this happiness is myth <br />All this lights colors are magical <br />For which heart craves naturally <br />So my eyes went towards light <br />Only to be back again into dark <br /> <br />In which I learned how to walk <br />How to talk and smile with wind <br />And how to weep in silence too <br />This darkness had shown me truth <br />So I went into light with closed eyes<br /><br />Kranthi Pothineni<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/dark-light-2/
