In my lovely and quaint rose garden <br />Where my brother’s roses dwell <br />I decided to build a sanctuary <br />Where water from his fountain fell <br /> <br />You’ll see a structure with houses <br />And a hotel for the birds to nest <br />This summer several families <br />Picked the one they liked the best <br /> <br />I have a robin roost though it seems <br />The robins really don’t care <br />But Blue jays find it the perfect place <br />With birdseed for them to share <br /> <br />There is a park bench placed near-by <br />For a wonderful park-like view <br />Where one can sit and relax <br />I think you’d enjoy it too <br /> <br />So if you would like to come by <br />To see my wildlife farm <br />I’ll pour you a glass of sweet tea <br />And you can enjoy the Blue Jay Charm!<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/blue-jay-charm/
